Constituency Area
Tongatapu 2 includes the CBD and the main seat of Government in Tonga, including the Royal Palace. It contains part of Kolofo’ou, Fanga-’o-Pilolevu, Mailetaha, Haveluloto and the Northern part of Tofoa/Koloua. All of these areas are Government estates except Haveluloto which is an estate of the noble Fielakepa. The Western boundary around Haveluloto follows the boundary of this estate. Tofoa/Koloua was divided along the road on the South side of the Talamahu market (Tofoa) in order to comply with population tolerances. Other boundaries follow major roads through the Kolofo’ou district.
