Constituency Area
Tongatapu 5 is the Western region of Tongatapu Island and it includes the village of Ha’atafu, Neiafu, Kanokupolu, ‘Ahau and Ha’akili, Kolovai, Ha’avakatolo, Fo’ui,
Masilamea, Te’ekiu, Nukunuku, Matafonua, Matahau, Vaotu’u, Ha’utu, Fahefa and
Kala’au. ‘Atataa Island is also included in Tongatapu 5 because, like Kolovai, it is an estate of Noble Ata. This constituency also includes the uninhabited islands of Toketoke, Tufaka, ‘Alakipeau, and Polo’a. In addition the more distant uninhabited islands of ‘Ata, Telekitonga and Telekitokelau have been included in Tongatapu 5. The Eastern boundary of the constituency follows Vimahi Rd and the boundary between the estates of Tu’ivakano and Noble Vaea.
